Description: Space Mavericks is a Free-to-play and Play-to-Earn real-time multiplayer mid-core game that recreates the classic artillery style of aiming and shooting by adjusting the angle and power. A game that mixes artillery games like Worms and Angry Birds with MOBAs like League of Legends or Dota. Choose from several commanders with unique special abilities and create your strategy to defeat all enemies that dare to get in your way. Join a competitive battle royale for up to 8 players or gather up to 4 allies to defy the most feared bosses in the Universe!

In this game, as the lead game designer, I managed the design team, in order to provide the best solutions for themes like game systems, gameplay, metagame, and user experience.

I directly worked on a redesign of the gameplay, the systems of the metagame (like the building system), and every loop related to Free-to-Play and Play-To-Earn elements. It was quite challenging because the game had been passing through many significant changes related to its goals and monetization models. Besides that, the previous gameplay was generating many interaction and dynamic issues. Then, it was my work to connect the missing points, replan and adapt the project, and make the things make more sense.

I worked on this project from the scratch to the prototype stage. Many important aspects of the game were rebalanced and redesigned by me, during my time on the project, while I also managed other designs to bring meaningful improvements to the game.
